1. Introduction

Welcome to German Exam Prep. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the German Exam Prep mobile application, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

By accessing this app, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use German Exam Prep if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

2. Definitions

  • App: Refers to the German Exam Prep mobile application.
  • Content: Refers to all materials, including but not limited to, model tests, questions, and other study materials available in the app.
  • Subscription: Refers to the monthly, six months and annual paid plans offered through the app.
  • User: Refers to any individual who accesses or uses the app.

3. Subscriptions

The app offers three types of paid subscriptions: Monthly, Six Months and Annual. Subscription prices vary depending on the user's country and can be viewed in the App Store or Google Play app listing.

4. Content Ownership

All content within the app is the property of Efe Kaptan and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use of the content, including copying or sharing it publicly on the internet, is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to take legal action against any content theft attempts.

5. User Conduct

Users are prohibited from:

  • Taking content out of the app and sharing it publicly on the internet.
  • Engaging in any activity that could harm the app or other users.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

The app provides practice materials for exam preparation purposes only. We do not guarantee success in real exams or take responsibility for any user’s exam results or failure after using the app. The app is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany.

8. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

We may revise these terms and conditions at any time. As we do not collect user information, we cannot notify users directly. Users are advised to visit the germanexamprep.de website to view the latest terms and conditions.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to block any IP address or cancel the subscription of any user if we notice repetitive content theft attempts or excessive requests from the same IP address.

10. Subscription Management and Refunds

Apple App Store (iOS)

  1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device
  2. Tap your name at the top of the Settings menu
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find and tap on "German Exam Prep"
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription" to cancel, or select a different subscription option to change your plan

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies. For more information, visit Apple's refund page.

Google Play Store (Android)

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right)
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  4. Select "German Exam Prep"
  5. Choose Cancel subscription or change your plan

11. In-App Purchases

All purchases in the app are made through Apple’s in-app purchase system or Google Play Billing, as applicable. We do not handle payment information directly.

12. Platform Roles

These terms and conditions are between you and Efe Kaptan, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content. However, Apple and Google, as third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, may enforce these terms against you to the extent applicable by their store rules.

13. Intellectual Property

The German Exam Prep app, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by Efe Kaptan and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Efe Kaptan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the app; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the app; (d) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the app by any third party.

Our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we handle your personal information, can be found at https://www.germanexamprep.de/privacy.html. By using the app, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
